What to Expect
The sweat lodge (Inipi in Lakota tradition) is a low domed structure covered with blankets. Hot stones are brought in and water poured over them to create intense steam. Participants sit in a circle in darkness through several rounds, with the door opened between rounds for air and rest. Songs, prayers, and intentions are held throughout. This is a powerful ceremonial experience — not a spa treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions

- What should I bring?
- A towel, loose natural-fibre clothing or a sarong, water for after, and an open heart. Electronics and watches are left outside.
